Now, in what will soon be the old Fort Sanders Hospital in Sevierville, a Post Traumatic Stress Disorder specialty clinic is in the works. It will be a place for servicemen, law enforcement, or firefighters to get help, drastically changing how veterans are cared for. Currently, a Knoxville native looking for counseling or help has to travel to Johnson City or Murfreesboro. The proposed clinic would be a family-friendly environment. The serviceman could have their husband, wife, and children with them as they seek treatment. * Symposium looks to find the best care for military's wounded: (KILLEEN DAILY HERALD) --- The fifth-annual event, which began Wednesday, brings together 65 wounded soldiers, veterans and military family members from around the country to identify the top care and transition issues they want Army leadership to address.
