Faced with adversity that for some seems unrealistic to overcome, Sergeant Flowers looks to the future for two things: to train the next generation of EOD technicians and to get back on the golf course. "This isn't a career ender anymore," he said. "As long as I can get back up on my feet and learn to walk again -- which is going to be no problem -- I hope they're going to keep me in the Air Force. If I can, I'll go down to the school house at Eglin (Air Force Base, Fla.) and will try to teach." click here to view
