The story of Godding and Sanders is proof of the need to take suicide prevention seriously, and a tale the Army would like to be told more. The duo are featured in this year’s Armywide suicide prevention video, “Shoulder to Shoulder: I Will Never Quit on Life.” Nationally, this week is recognized as Suicide Prevention Week, with the entire month of September set aside for prevention education. click here to view
