Veterans Industries, which falls under the VA North Texas Health Care System, is a compensated work therapy program that provides vocational rehabilitation to veterans. Pleasant and other veterans have gotten a new chance to enter the work force through Veterans Industries, and the program in Fort Worth recently welcomed a new manager, John Purkey.
