Veteran gets home makeover: (ORLANDO SENTINEL)

The five-bedroom, three bathroom house is being renovated for William Castillo, a U.S. Army veteran who was severely injured and lost a leg in 2007 in Iraq. The renovation is a project sponsored by Building Homes For Heroes a New York-based group that raises money to renovate homes that they then give - mortgage-free - to wounded veterans. The organization's leaders said they hope to build one or two houses in Florida each year. To date, they have rebuilt seven houses across the country. click here to view
