McLean Co. program aims to aid veterans' mental health: (THE PANTAGRAPH, BLOOMINGTON, IL)

To help veterans, Center for Human Services - McLean County's mental health agency - is starting Community Circle of Support for Veterans and their Families. The program seeks to address mental health needs of veterans and their families, said Mary Horgan, the center's program manager for outpatient services. The program's first initiative is an eight-week therapy group for returning veterans with PTSD and their significant others. Goals are to help a veteran deal with PTSD symptoms and to improve relationships with a spouse, partner or parents, Horgan said. click here to view
