Terry Travers, a medically retired Navy officer, spent many years aboard ships at sea. It was only fitting then that the 45-year-old Webster resident took the maiden voyage aboard a new $4,000 bi-ski, the first major piece of equipment purchased by OASIS Adaptive Sports, a new organization dedicated to helping wounded and physically challenged veterans reconnect with mainstream life through outdoor recreation. click here to view
