Veterans Affairs program using housing vouchers to get homeless veterans off streets: (WACO TRIBUNE)

Since 2008, the VA has reserved 35 rental vouchers for Waco's homeless veterans, and local officials are hoping to secure that many more in the future once the current allotment is used up. The vouchers typically require a veteran to pay 30 percent of his or her income for rent. click here to view
