Hooks Book Events produced its first salon at the Four Seasons Hotel in Georgetown this past week with our new best friend, Lee Woodruff. The author and activist who supports the troops through her nonprofit organization www.remind.org" charmed us with readings from her new book "Perfectly Imperfect" and with stories about her life with her children and husband, ABC News reporter Bob Woodruff, who suffered a severe brain injury in 2006 while covering the War in Iraq.
