My husband is a captain in the US Air Force and I am on vacation in Germany. My son was admitted to Landstuhl hospital and needed an emergency appendectomy. As we sat in the waiting room two ambulances arrived with wounded soldiers. The doctors, nurses and waiting room patients all chipped in to help care for the wounded. I have never seen such passion for human life. From the soldiers to the hospital workers, they are all heroes. Our military personal do not get the spotlight that they deserve. I will spread the word of ReMIND.org so that each person I meet will understand the dynamics our military soldiers and hospital workers as well as the joy of a saved life.
I look forward to being an advocate.
