While bicyling in 1993, I collided with an auto in Duluth, MN. I awoke in a hospital bed several days later, so I was told, a TBI "survivor". I went on to receive my graduate degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2002, and accepted my brain injury diagnosis in 2007. I have not been able to maintain employment as I cannot remain focused, or, on task. However, TBI counselors and Brain Injury resources believe that my case is "not that bad". I am ful-time employed, and currently live with retired parents. I need to know of affordable housing resources/opportunities in the Twin Cities, or, ANY community, and hope that ReMind.org has some leads for me to pursue.
