In 2008 I suffered a serious accident which which after two spinal surgeries has left me disabled. My TBI was not diagnosed for almost a year after the accident. I have followed the growth of the Remind organization after Bob's injuries occurred and quite frankly have looked to him as my hero as I struggle to regain what I have lost. In following this I have become painfully aware of the many men and women who will return from the Mid-East with undiagnosed TBI's and feel a very strong need at this point to do something to help the cause. While I have made small donations,I would like to be more actively involved through a program such as the dogtag program or helping to raise money. I would like to find out more about what i can do to help. In do so it will help me to become a more social person again and to recapture my feelings of self esteem. While i know that Bob and Lee communicate with oodles of people daily, I have twittered directly with Bob on numerous occasions. I want to make sure that our soldiers don't have to wait for treatment the way I did!

11/11/2010 Afternoon Betty! We are going through a similar issue with our Mom. She had an involuntary fall when almost to bottom of steps. Found hemoglobin around 6-7 and infection in blood. Now all the trauma, affects, etc. What resources assisted you in rehab, being able to be home, etc. Thanks so much!
