I am a member of the US Navy, and I was hurt during my deployment to Iraq. I had received injuries to various parts of my body, and finally I will be getting an operation to my back. Unfortunately, the military will not fly my family to help me during my recovery so I can move around with the help of my wife. i have tried without success for one of these charitable organizations to help me flying my family here for my surgery. To date no help. Also, my right rotator cuff is damaged and the Navy doesn't want to fix it because I am a reservist. Whenever, you are being activated as a reservist to active duty, it is two separate worlds. Chris Porter E4

I know of some organizations that may help. www.hopeforthewarriors.org, www.operationhomefront.org, www.yellowribbonfund.org. I cannot believe the Navy liason will not help you with this, it is appaling. Please try one of these organizations, they are wonderful.Thank you for your service, God Bless - Lori Nault (mother of a wounded warrior).
