I returned from Iraq in Dec. 06 and knew something was wrong with me. I was lucky in that my social worker was familiar with TBIs, and I was able to go to Walter Reed to be evaluated. I was on med hold for over 18 months. I am on transitional leave and will soon be medically retired. I did receive medical disability, but I feel lost and I do not know where to turn. I am involved with the Brain Injury Association of Kentucky and they wonderful. i have tried to be a voice for other soldiers and wonder who will take my place now. Linda Brashears
