    I am proud to be the mom af a soldier, wife of a soldier, sister of a soldier,sister-in-law of a soldier, and aunt of two very special young women in the army. I am aslo the coordinator of the American Pain Foundations' military and veterans initiative . I have been given the privilege of advocating for improvements in pain care specifically for our seriously wounded servie men and women and all veterans who have persistent pain. I have testified before the senate committe on veterans affairs, to address legislation that will improve pain care from the battlefield to the bedside and for a lifetime , if needed. I applaud this foundation for all of your efforts and I invite you to contact me if I or the American Pain Foundation can collaborate in any way to help raise awareness of these issue.
