After performing on behalf of vn vets from 1975 to 1986 nationwide, 1st avn bde alumni tunesmith lem genovese chose to renew his commitment to the nation and re-joined the iowa army national guard.
He volunteered as a medic to serve in desert storm exactly 20 years after his service in the mekong delta of vietnam. Retired from the guard after 20 plus years and two war zones he has returned to his musical endeavors by performing for military families whenever there is interest.
He has completed his first studio quality cd called "six lazzeri lane" with yankee medic records in mid august of 2008. He is willing to perform benefit concerts for established organizations causes so long as a stipend to cover expenses is covered in advance.
