My son suffered severe traumatic brain injury when his humvee was struck by an IED in may of 2006. Thanks to advances in medicine, unwavering faith, and an incredibly talented army neurosurgeon, he continues to make a remarkable recovery. My family and I are deeply grateful to the Bob Woodruff Family Foundation and their incredible staff for all the love and support they have shown. Thank you, Bob, for all you've done and keep doing to help the public understand the difficulties our warriors face with this "unseen" signature wound. Dealing with TBI can be a slippery slope, but keep the faith. There is hope.
