GTOPI of PORT ORCHARD GETS GREEN LIGHT TO CONTACT VETERAN'S HOSPITALS TO OFFER UNIQUE COSMETIC PROSTHETIC SERVICES
Dan Horkey, founder and president of Global Tattoo Orthotic Prosthetic Innovations (GTOPI) in Port Orchard has been notified by the United States Veteran's Administration that his company is encouraged to contact all VA hospitals in the country to offer his unique cosmetics for prosthetics and orthotics.
"This is a significant step forward for our company because we are now an approved contractor for the U.S. government, listed in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR)," Horkey said. "This opens the doors for us to conduct business with VA hospitals and clinics nationwide."
Horkey has pioneered several patent-pending methods for applying tattoos, artwork, custom color designs to orthopedic braces and prosthetic limbs. Horkey, an amputee, says the designs allow fellow amputees to express their individual ideas through custom designs.
GTOPI has previously provided custom design work on orthotics and prosthetics though the VA Puget Sound Veterans Hospital in Seattle and Walter Reed Army Medical Center (WRAMC) in Washington, D.C. "We can now contact and make available our unique GTOPI custom restoration cosmetic services to all veterans of America through VA hospitals and VA contractor clinics across America," Horkey said.
"The beauty of our GTOPI system is that we can create and apply custom designs, from a tattoo, to custom four color designs, can match the color of vehicles, motorcycles. We have a team of artists and designers ready to create any design," Hokey said.
